I have around 100-150 chrome tabs open on average. most of the time, chrome does reasonably good, but at some point memory usage is insane, and cpu usages goes up.

My quest to have a better browsing experience (mac):

Go to about:flags

• Disable any duplicate flash plugins.
• Disable “Web Page Prerendering”
• Enable “Click to play”
• Enable “Enable better omnibox history matching”

Go to www.youtube.com/html5 and enable html5 videos

Not sure how it will behave after a week though
